Apple promised in September during the presentation of the iPhone 5 and iOS 6 that iTunes 11, the biggest change in recent years, will be available by the end of October. But it seems that Apple wants to make sure that everything is right this time, thus iTunes 11 is postponed for a month. The Cupertino company confirmed to AllThingsD that the new version of iTunes will take more time consuming than expected. By the end of November the iTunes 11 will be completely revamped.
In response to AllThingsD, Apple spokesman Tom Neumayr know the following:
“The new iTunes is taking longer than expected and we wanted to take a little extra time to get it right. We look forward to releasing this new version of iTunes with its dramatically simpler and cleaner interface, and seamless integration with iCloud before the end of November.”
