Jailbreak iOS 6.zero.1 for iPhone and iPod contact (A4) with Redsn0w



With each new version of iOS,  most users focused on how to jailbreak.  After the release of iOS 6.0.1, most are probably wondering about how to hack the new iOS firmware. We’re glad to announce that a new version of Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 can easily handles tethered jailbreak iOS 6.0.1, although it still has a limited range of compatible devices. Currently supported gadgets processor A4, including iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 4G. The other models in the A5 (iPhone 4S, iPad 2, iPad mini), A5X (iPad 3), A6 (iPhone 5) and A6X (iPad 4) is not compatible with any of the public-jailbreak exploits.

Like the two previous issues, Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 not only jailbreaks iOS 6.0.1, a vulnerability limera1n, for devices on a chip, A4, and installed automatically store informal application Cydia.

Compatible Devices:

As already mentioned, to jailbreak iOS 6.0.1 only on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 4G. Other models of smartphones and tablets on the A5, A5X, A6 and A6X not supported. In addition, the tethered jailbreak, that is, requires a connection i-gadget to the computer on every reboot.

How to Jailbreak iOS 6.0.1 for iPhone and iPod touch with Redsn0w 0.9.15b3:

Step 1: Download iOS 6.0.1 on this link and iOS 6.0 from here.

Step 2: Download the latest version of Redsn0w 0.9.15b3, click on this link.

Step 3: Run Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 in Administrator mode, if you’re on Windows or make a click, hold down Ctrl, and select “Open” from the new menu, if you are a user OS X Mountain Lion.


Step 4: Go to the menu Extras -> Select IPSW and specify in the IPSW-file iOS 6.0 (not iOS 6.0.1) on the device for which you are performing the jailbreak.


Step 5: On the main screen, click the Jailbreak, select Cydia and put your device into DFU mode the instructions on the screen. Now start Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 to jailbreak iOS 6.0.1. After completion click “Autoboot this device when it connects in DFU mode” to switch to tethered jailbreak. After the automatic reboot, your device will be  jailbreoken on iOS 6.0.1.

Booting into tethered mode

From now on every reboot or turn off the iPhone or iPod touch, you have to connect your device to iOS 6.0.1 to your computer and turn it into a jailbreak with a special function Redsn0w. To do this, open the section “Extras” and click “Just boot”.



Right now there is no untethered jailbreak iOS 6/iOS 6.0.1 for new devices Apple. At the moment, iPhone Dev Team is working on it. Previously, we reported on the successful jailbreak iPhone 5, which performed the hacker and developer of unofficial purposes Chpwn day beginning.
