While iOS 8.1.2 is available for download to the general public since yesterday, Taïg jailbreak software already supports Apple’s latest firmware. Remember, iOS 8.1.2 brings some minor fixes, including one for ringtones purchased from iTunes (read: iOS 8.1.2 available for iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch).

Step 1: 1) Backup of your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch with the latest version of iTunes or using iCloud
Step 1: Create a folder on your desktop and download the latest version of Taïg on our jailbreak tools page. If the download is a zip file you have to extract the archive in the same folder.
Step 2: In the Settings on your iPhone or iPad, you will need to disable Touch ID and Find My iPhone
Step 3: Connect your iPhone or iPad to the computer via a USB cable and launch iTunes without forgetting to make a manual backup. It is very important that you do not forget to backup your device before you continue lose your data if the jailbreak process does not complete correctly.
Step 4: Double-click theTaiGJBreak file installed on your desktop and launch the application, right-click the .exe file and click “Run as administrator”.
Step 5: You will notice that the device is detected by the software. Clear the check box at the bottom to prevent Taïg App Store to be installed and click the big green button to start your jailbreak.
Step 6: Once the jailbreak successfully completed, you will see a green smiley, your iPhone will reboot and Cydia application will appear on your Springboard.
Voila!! The jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 untethered was successfull!
