This year LG Electronics will introduce a new generation of its high-end smart phones, the LG G5. This smartphone will arrived at Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona next to the Samsung Galaxy S7, released a unique design that breaks, completely, with the releases of the South Korean firm to date. With a metal chassis, leaving the polycarbonate body of previous generations, the LG G5 will have dimensions of 149.4 x 73.9 mm in terms of height and width. And as has been confirmed, it will be noticeably thinner than the previous generation.
In terms of design, these dimensions fit for the screen diagonal of 5.6 inches is expected in the terminal. Once again, LG Electronics will bet on QHD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, but with a higher quality panel over the previous release. Another important change is given by the thickness, that is 8.2 millimeters.
Years ago LG Electronics made it clear how important it is for them to optimize the relationship between the width and height of the terminal body and the diagonal screen. That is, one of the key objectives of LG is to optimize the area occupied by the panel, and in this case we get reduced 0.5 mm high and 2.2 mm other width. At the same time, however, the screen diagonal 0.1 inches will expand.
In addition, the curved rear design, which used to spend 6.3 mm at the thinnest area up to 9.8 millimeters in the center, thicker abandoned. Now, a rear smooth and 8.2 millimeters. Thus, the ergonomics of the terminal will be one of the key points. In other words, once again we see the most cutting-edge hardware components, but you do not have too precise information about your processor and other internal parts.
