Lylac tweak allows to customize iPhone’s App Switcher

Many people that have jailbroken devices are accustomed to use extensions that allows to tweak and customize the most of their device. Recently a new package compatible with iOS available on Cydia is lylac, a tweak highly customizable that was developed precisely in order to improve the native iOS App Switcher.

The tweak was designed to unite the App Switcher and iOS Control Centre. The two instruments are indeed merged, providing a continuity solution that allows you to perform different tasks at the same screen, or the App Switcher.

Lylac also simplifies many actions, to the delight of many users. For example, you can close all the background applications with a single swipe. One swipe down instead allows you to restart the device, manually set the safe mode etc. The developer has also introduced a feature “whitelist”, which allows the execution of all apps. The function is perfect for applications such as streaming music.

You can customize the look of the switcher with blurred backgrounds, effects of opacity etc. The developer has also stressed that lylac is compatible with other tweak on Cydia, as Polus, CCSettings, FlipControlCenter and QuickActivator.

Lylac is compatible with iOS 9 on iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus. The current version of the tweak does not offer compatibility with iPad. Lylac can be downloaded from the BigBoss repo in Cydia for $1.99
