The new Apple Silicon MacBooks could arrive in the second half of 2021. Apple had previously planned to start production of the 14 and 16-inch Apple Silicon MacBook Pros in the first half of 2021, but now it seems that the company has decided to postpone everything for a few months. The exact date remains unknown, but at this point, the new Apple MacBook Pros will likely launch in November and not in the first half of the year.
Both models are expected to feature the next-generation Apple processor M1x or M2. The two future MacBook Pros are also expected to have mini LED screens, a redesigned chassis, and the return of MagSafe charging technology. More connection options will also return, including an HDMI port and an SD card reader, while the much-maligned Touch Bar will be replaced by physical function keys.
