Redsnow updated to support iOS 5.0.1 build 9A406

The iPhone Dev Staff Jailbreak redsn0w popular tool released a major update. In the updated version of redsn0w, a function that allows iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and the new iPad 3 owners could downgrade their firmware to a version that has an untethered Jailbreak.

There was some small things forgotten. 4S iPhone users who just ShSh blobs of iOS 5.0.1 Build 9A406 had saved could not downgrade the new function of using redsn0w. This is updated to version redsn0w 0.9.11b2 to forget the IOS version to support.

Back in December Apple had a small IOS update for iPhone users 4S. The small iOS update did not come with a version number or whatever. It was still the same IOS 5.0.1 but only had a new build number: 9A406. This update was being released to the known SIM card problem.

The new redsn0w 0.9.11b2 is only updated to the one IOS version to support. You can download the new redsn0w as usual through our Download Jailbreak Tools  page.

If you want to downgrade to iOS 5.0.1 with the new redsn0w please follow these instructions:  iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and the new iPad 3 down with redsn0w degrees 0.9.11b1 [Guide] . I guess you downgraded your device an untethered Jailbreak want? Then you can follow these instructions to an untethered jailbreak with redsn0w to perform:  untethered jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 on iPhone and iPad 4
S 2 with redsn0w 0.9.11b1 [Guide]
