This year is a very special one for Apple, we all know, to be the tenth anniversary of the launch of the iPhone. This means that on the version of its smartphone that is launched this year will fall to many high expectations, something that will surely be elevated with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 in late March or early April.

The Korean company wants to astonish the public with the new smartphone that they are preparing, partly to leave the high lane ahead to the event of Apple of September and partly so that we can forget the recent problem related to batteries of Galaxy Note 8 So much so, that this year will not be presented within the framework of the Mobile World Congress, but will hold an event for this purpose.

A few weeks ago we watched a video filtering the possible appearance of the Galaxy S8, accompanied by some images, but none of them showed the back of it. So it began to be speculated what would happen to the footprint sensor of the Galaxy S8: whether it would be integrated in the screen or if its location would pass to the rear of the terminal. New leaks confirm today that, as expected, the reader will be next to the camera of the device. This attends to the impossibility of putting it in the front due to some frames that have been reduced to its minimum expression.

The matter related to the frames of the screen pursued Apple since at least the last three years, approximately since the launch of the Plus model. This year we aspire to see a total redesign of the new smartphone that Apple presents but, what will happen with the fingerprint reader?

It seems unlikely that we will see an iPhone with the built-in fingerprint reader directly on the screen (yet), so the options go through keeping it – along with the frame – or passing it to the back in an act that may not be quite right received.
