Samsung sent out a press release on Friday afternoon about officially announcing the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite. The smartphones promise a lot of cameras and a long battery life for little money.
Let’s start with the Galaxy S10 Lite: Visually, this is a cross between the Galaxy S10e and the Galaxy Note 10. The AMOLED display turns out flat and does not bend around the sides, as is the case with the premium models. The camera hole in the screen is located in the top center features a 32 MP front camera. With a diagonal of 6.7-inch, the display is even larger than the Galaxy S10 Plus screen. A Full HD Plus resolution ensures sufficient image sharpness, but this is below the maximum QHD Plus resolution of S10 and Note 10.
The Galaxy S10 Lite has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, Samsung did not provide enough information about the processor: There is an octa-core chipset that was manufactured using the 7-nanometer process and hides the Snapdragon 855; Qualcomm’s top chip from 2019, which also appeared as a plus variant later in the year.
A triple camera awaits you on the back. The main lens has a wide angle with a resolution of 48 MP and image stabilization to ensure sharp photos. Also, an ultra-wide-angle lens that has a resolution of 12 MP. Finally, a macro lens with 5 MP is on board, which is suitable for close-ups.
S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite both have a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh. Samsung promises a long battery life, but you should keep in mind that the two Lite models have giant displays and they should use a lot of battery. A quick charge function is available.
The Galaxy Note 10 Lite looks very similar to the Galaxy S10 Lite and has almost the same dimensions. It also uses a flat AMOLED display that covers almost the entire front. The camera hole With 32 MP front camera placed in the middle. The 6.7-inch screen in Full HD Plus. The first big difference to the S10 Lite should be the S Pen.
According to Samsung, the Note 10 Lite uses an octa-core chip that was manufactured using the 7-nanometer process. It is said to be an Exynos 9810, a top chipset from Samsung, which however comes from 2018 and was first installed in the Galaxy S9. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite also comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite has a triple camera. The wide-angle lens has a resolution of 12 MP and offers image stabilization. The ultra-wide-angle lens is apparently identical to that of the Galaxy S10 Lite and uses 12 MP. In addition, a telephoto zoom is installed with 12 MP.

The Galaxy S10 Lite costs 649 euros and is available in the colors Prism White, Prism Black, and Prism Blue. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite is available for 599 euros and is available in Aura Glow, Aura Black, and Aura Red. The two smartphones will be released in the first quarter of 2020.
