Samsung Takes Down Apple Mocking Video Ads After 3.5mm Jack Removal From Galaxy Note 10

Samsung has always mocked Apple’s decision to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack from the iPhone 7 with advertising videos tweets, and other sources of media. But this time, the Korean company had to remove a video that was recently published following the presentation of Galaxy Note 10 due to the lack of headphone jack.

The released advertisement in question appeared in November 2017, titled “Growing Up” and was removed from the Samsung YouTube channel and the Samsung Mobile USA channel. The video was going to promote the Galaxy Note 8 by mocking the iPhone X’s notch and lacked the audio jack, showing the use of dedicated dongles with iPhone. However, the video is still available on the Samsung Malaysia channel.

The announcement depicts the life of a young man who eventually decided to switch from Apple to Samsung, and one of the main points of contention was the lack of a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

However, the video has been removed following the presentation of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+, which are the first top-of-the-line smartphones from the South Korean company to give up the audio jack for headphones, probably due to space issues.
