TAIG  released the 2.1.2 update fixing all the problems that had been detected  previously. It was not yesterday, as promised, but the wait was not very long and this new version is official, unlike the version 2.1.0 was an alpha version (for internal test purposes only) and did not recommend installation.


On this new guide dedicated to Jailbreak iOS 8.3, 8.2 and 8.1.3 and we explained how to use Taig 2.1.2, newly available for download, to run the jailbreak of your iPhone and correct problems with Cydia Substrate. The guide applies to both those who have already done the jailbreak with a previous version of that Taig for new jailbreakers.

Existing users with jailbrreak TaiG 2.0:

If you have already run the jailbreak with a previous version of Taig, there’s good news: you will not have to run it but just do as described below.

Step 1: Open Cydia and let upload packages.

Step 2: Add the following two repo Taig:


Step 3: Look for the package named “Taig 8.1.3-8.x Untether” and install it.

Step 4: Restart your device.

Now you have updated your Jailbreak and you should not have any more problems with Cydia Substrate!

New Jailbreak

If you have not used Taig on your iPhone, it’s time to do it with a new, more stable and without many of the bugs that have accompanied the first release. Tain 2.1.2 supports all iPhone, iPad and iPod touch with iOS 8.3, iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.1.3.
