TAIG today launched a new beta version of its tool for jailbreak iOS 8.1.2-8.4. This time there is only one novelty: streamlines the process of jailbreak. Although it seems a paltry update, there are actually people who say they have finally managed to jailbreak your device, so it could be interesting that, although currently in beta.
We recall that the previous version, 2.4.2 TAIG tool was supposed to optimize jailbreak process and supposedly corrected the problem that prevented some users to jailbreak their devices because the process stopped at 30% or 40%. In addition, version 2.4.2 also included Cydia 1.1.23 which is the latest version of Saurik Store. The latest official version 2.4.1 Jailbreak TAIG also prevented the process stopped at 60%.
This tool, not change, it is still only available for computers running Windows. It seems that you have not pressed TAIG PP launched its tool for OS X and follows his own, launching version after version for your perfect tool, something that has not yet succeeded. At this rate, TAIG jailbreak reach the final version when you go for version 2.9.99 and then, and only then, will launch the tool to jailbreak with our Mac.
That said, and several days after PP was launched Jailbreak for Mac, I think we can already say that the jailbreak is a good choice, moral issues aside. No security researcher (as i0n1c, for example) has said anything bad about PP Jailbreak, we assume that no serious security failure. In addition, our colleague Luis Padilla has already done the jailbreak tool with PP and says it works like a charm.
