The design of the HTC One M9 and M9 Plus Revealed

Evleaks, now retired, has returned to what seem to be HTC phones, and on its Twitter account, the upcoming models of the brand, the M9 One HTC and HTC One M9 Plus, smartphones HTC called to carry to the top again in 2015.

Evleaks is one of the most recognized mobile world for leaking images. Furthermore their first leaks were precisely HTC , manufacturer I seem to be still maintains a close relationship

As we see in the pictures, Evan has done a review of all flagships from HTC that was shown throughout his career as a filter, where in 2013 highlighted the HTC Original One and later the HTC One (M8) in 2014. The new images are in line with what we heard in recent days that the model formerly known as HTC Hima (codename) change of appearance versus One (M8), although HTC was performing internal testing on the same chassis .

As we see, the strategy followed by HTC with the HTC One M9 and the M9 Plus One would be similar to 2013, when it launched the HTC One and HTC One Max larger. The inclusion of the home button on the front of the HTC One M9 Plus reflects the need to include support for use as a fingerprint reader, than previous models we saw at the front and another in the back, as in the HTC One Max.

Upleaks was told that it had a similar home button Samsung aspect would only function fingerprint reader, so the buttons Back, Multitasking and Home would like to One (M8), including on the screen via software. A reduction is also seen in the thickness of the speaker grille that although would remain at the front, would be located adjacent the upper and lower edge, as in the Nexus 9. Thus, eventually eliminate the annoying edge HTC black with the logo found since 2013.

Its specifications, as we look would be:

  • Snapdragon 810 (SoC would be the best of 2015, at least the first half)
  • 3GB of RAM
  • Screen 5 “Full HD
  • 2840 mAh battery capacity
  • 20.7 MP camera and front camera 13 MP or MP ultrapixel 4
  • Colors: Gray, Silver, Gold, Gunmetal Gold
  • Dimensions: 144.3 x 69.4 x 9.56 mm (the HTC One M8 is 146.4 x 70.6 x 9.4 mm)
  • Lollipop Android with HTC Sense 7.0
  • LTE connectivity with support VoLTE

We followed the steps, made a representation to reflect changes HTC One M9 or Hima vs. HTC One (M8). For both devices, we have to wait until March 1, the date set by HTC in its invitation to the media.

What do you think of this possible design of the HTC One (M9)? Do you consider HTC to have a successful presentation of a larger smartphone?
