After bug messages found on iOS, a similar problem was also found on Skype app for iPhone, Android devices and Windows PCs. Only remain immune to the Mac and Windows 8.1.
In practice, the Skype application crashes when receiving a particular message that contains the characters “http: //”. The problem was reported in theSkype official support forum, followed by the official confirmation of Microsoft: “We are aware of the problem and are working to provide a solution.”
A temporary solution is to ask the sender to remove the message and then re-install Skype on your terminal. The bug is particularly troublesome because users can not avoid it even erasing the history of chat in Skype, since all the data is re-downloaded from the cloud. It serves no purpose even restart the app.
Note that Skype has fixed the bug of the message with a new release already available for download.
