AllThingsD has just announced that Tim Cook will speak D10 Conference opening. This is the AllThingsD blog annual conference , part of The Wall Street Journal. Famous people from the tech world during the conference interviewed by Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher, often candid stories come to the table.
Walt Mossberg and I could not be more thrilled to announce that Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, will be the opening-night speaker at our 10th D: All Things Digital conference.
Steve Jobs was also frequently present at AllThingsD. The last time was in 2010, but most legendary was five years ago when Steve Jobs and Bill Gates for the first time in a long time sat together on one stage (see below). The tenth AllThingsD conference (abbreviated D10) takes place from May 29 – 31 in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
Cook will probably not announce new products, but talk about the future of the tech industry and the role of Apple in it. The speech probably will not be streamed live, but there do appear online videos which you can watch later.
