Despite the coronavirus epidemic, the situation is normalizing in China and several Apple suppliers are returning to full speed. Among these is TSMC, responsible for the production of the Ax series Apple processors.
According to the latest information from DigiTimes, TSMC is about to start production of the new 5-nanometer chips that Apple will use on the iPhone 12. Mass production of this component should, however, start in early April and no further delays are expected.
Other Apple suppliers such as Compal and Wistron also started their production in China, reaching almost the standard levels of the period.
It remains only to understand what Apple will do with the launch of the iPhone 9 and iPad Pro expected by the end of March.
