A few days ago the first public version of Sileo, the package manager to replace Cydia was made available to users. It is not completely finished since several things need to be polished, but it is better than nothing and as a first approach it is quite good.
On New Year’s Eve, the Pwn20wnd hacker was working to update his uncOver jailbreak tool to version 2.1.0. It seems to contain no significant changes with respect to the test version, which is a good sign. However, moments later, Pwn20wnd updated it again to solve “strange errors” that was happening.
The hacker reported that the new version was available through his Twitter account. Apparently, some users experienced unusual crashes after updating to the latest version of the jailbreak tool.
All those users who are interested in knowing the list of official changes can access it through the official Pwn20wnd repository in Github.
What is clear is that the revision was not important enough to grant unc0ver the number of a new version. If you use this tool on your iOS devices it is best to update to the latest version to benefit from the changes.
unc0ver jailbreak tools is available for download from Pwn20wnd’s official GitHub repository.
