Only three days away until the WWDC 2021 kicks. A few hours ago analyst Morgan Stanley mentioned that Apple could present on June 7, new Macbook Pros in 14-inch and 16-inch shared with MacRumors. Apple is likely to announce at least one new MacBook model powered by Apple Silicon chips during WWDC 2021.
“Over the past 12 months, Apple has introduced not only new Macs (MacBook Air, MacBook Pro 13” and Mac Mini) with M1 but also a high-end 12.9 “iPad Pro with that processor,” Huberty wrote. “We expect this momentum to continue into WWDC 2021 and, based on our audits, we believe it is likely that Apple will launch a new MacBook with Apple Silicon.”
Huberty said there is a possibility that the new MacBook will include the so-called “M2” chip, and if so, he assumes shipments to customers will begin in the second half of 2021. This notebook would most likely be a new high-end MacBook Pro. with redesigned 14 and 16-inch versions. Huberty’s prediction aligns with those of leaker Jon Prosser, who said a new MacBook Pro will be unveiled on June 7.
