Two Italian hackers released Yalu, the first jailbreak for iOS 10.2 today. Luca Todesco hackers and Marco Grassi officially released the first iOS 10.2 IPA file for a semi-untethered jailbreak,  unfortunately,  does not have a specific tool to install Cydia and is not compatible with all Apple devices.

According to the description on the Yalu Jailbreak, unlock this page is compatible with the following devices: iPhone 6s, SE iPhone and iPad Pro updated to iOS 10, IOS 10.1, IOS 10.2. Yes, all the other devices are not supported, and in particular are not supported iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.



At the download page, you will have to download both the IPA file proposed that Cydia Impactor, indispensable to certify the installation of the application on your device and then to perform the jailbreak. Once downloaded Cydia Impactor (available for Windows, MacOS and Linux), open the program and drag on the interface of this application the IPA file downloaded from the Yalu site. You will be asked to enter your email address of the Apple ID (do it) and soon after will be prompted for the password of the same. The data will be released only to Apple’s servers, so you can rest easy.

If you did everything correctly, you will find a new application be waiting in the Home of your device. Before you open it, go to Settings> General> Device Management and authorized the app “Yalu”. This is done, open the application.

Open the app, click on “GO” and close any errors related to the release procedure that might tell you more disk space is low. A setup operation shall find Cydia ready to await the Home screen. We report that the MobileSubstrate is already compatible with IOS 10.2 and then all the tweak based on it can be installed without problems after the operation of Jailbreak.

In any case, once again it is a jailbreak in its infancy and certainly still unstable, we recommend waiting for further updates before proceeding with the operation. jailbreak for iOS 10.2 can be downloaded from here
